Civil status certificates or other documents that have been ordered can be picked up at the WI-Box outside of the authorities’ business hours. The WI-Box is a pickup station operated by the Wiesbaden Public Order Office and functions similarly to pickup stations used by delivery services.

For example, if you request a certificate from the Registry Office, instead of picking it up in person during business hours, you can specify the WI-Box as your pickup location. As soon as the certificate is ready for pickup at the WI-Box, you will receive an email with a barcode. To retrieve your certificate, you can either scan the barcode at the WI-Box or manually enter the eight-digit code below it.
