What parents can expect from this daycare center:
What parents can expect from this daycare center: Open house, instead of fixed groups. We employees are prepared to face up to the changing social conditions in order to guarantee children the best possible opportunities for social integration. We have therefore decided to dissolve the fixed group structures in our building. We are convinced that this will give us more time for individual children, enable us to better recognize their needs, guarantee them more autonomy and self-organization in their learning, development and educational processes and strengthen them for the transition from daycare to school. To this end, we give the children the greatest possible freedom of choice and decision-making in their day-to-day life at the daycare center. The traditional group rooms have been turned into functional rooms, which can be visited during the free play phases according to the children's needs. The functional rooms, such as the sports room, construction room, dressing-up room and studio, are spread over two floors. Each functional room is supervised by 1-2 pedagogical specialists and is designed with a focus on content. The children's wishes are regularly listened to, coordinated, implemented and reflected upon. In this way, we ensure that the pedagogical work in our house is designed from the perspective of the experts, namely the children (!). Focus of the educational work: -Open groups -Functional rooms with different focal points -Project work -Wood workshop -Art studio -Reading mentors -Wood days -Homework supervision -Violence prevention project "Victims, no thanks" in cooperation with the Judo Club Kim-Chi e.V., Budo gymnastics -Attractive movement offers such as early childhood gymnastics, Airtrack, self-defense, -Early musical education -Specialists with expertise in the field of language education

Situational approach
Supplements Open pedagogical work with focus rooms (functional rooms): Mission statement: We see our daycare center as an open house in which children between the ages of three and twelve experience their daycare environment together. In no other phase of life do people have such important, personality-forming and learning-psychological/neurobiological experiences as in this phase. In particular, we make use of the children's natural curiosity, interest in experience and high level of openness to perception and, together with them, create a wide variety of framework conditions and learning and living spaces in which qualitative learning processes are made possible. Social conditions have changed significantly in recent years and so have the demands placed on the adults of tomorrow, i.e. the children of today, which they are expected to fulfill. If we want our children to grow up to be flexible, creative, enthusiastic learners and socially competent people and thus continue our Christian-democratic form of society, we must understand and shape the daycare environment as such. "Personalities, not principles, move the age." (Oscar Wilde)
