The Funky Organ Brothers

You can look forward to "The Funky Organ Brothers" on Sunday, May 25, at 3 p.m. in the garden of Burg Sonnenberg as part of the castle festival. Admission is free - the artists are happy to receive a donation!

Musicians with sunglasses

Jan Menzel (Hammond organ) makes the vocal part sound crystal clear or smoky and dirty in the best gospel/soul style on the keys. The driving basslines of his Hammond organ always form the foundation. Christian Tessmer (electric guitar) adds riffs and solo lines with a roaring guitar and rhythmic drive to the sound of the "Brothers". Marius Todor (drums) plays the "funky" part of the trio with sophisticated breaks and precise drumming. What you hear immediately gets into your legs and won't let you go any time soon.

Bands and musicians such as The Meters, Booker T. & the M.G.'s, James Brown, Reuben Wilson, Jack Mc Duff etcetera, from whose repertoire the trio "The Funky Organ Brothers" also add one or two newly arranged pieces to their sets.

Admission is free - the artists would be delighted to receive donations! Admission is half an hour before the concert begins. Reservations are not possible due to free seating.
