Partial building permit
A partial building permit allows the construction of part of a building project to begin before the full building permit for the entire project has been issued. The prerequisite is that a complete building application for the entire project has already been submitted - the partial building permit requires an ongoing approval process.
In general, the Hessian Building Code (HBO) specifies which structures, construction projects, land uses, facilities, and other installations require approval. It distinguishes between projects that do not require a permit and those that do. The scope of the building authority’s review varies depending on the procedure.
