Do you want to inform the lower building supervisory authority of the progress of your building project?
The building owner must notify the local building authority of the completion of the structural work, the final completion, and, if applicable, the commencement of use prior to final completion.
The building inspectorate must be notified of the final completion or occupancy of a building at least two weeks in advance.
For construction projects for which applications were submitted via the Hessen Construction Portal on or after December 1, 2025, construction status notifications (start of construction, completion of the shell, occupancy prior to completion if applicable, and final completion) must be submitted digitally via the portal. For construction projects for which applications were submitted before December 1 via a hybrid method (Nextcloud + a paper copy) or in paper form, construction status notifications may be submitted as PDF files via email or through Nextcloud.
