Accommodation management and social assistance for homeless people and refugees

Social work in shelters

Refugees and homeless people receive support here.

Social work in accommodation is available to refugees as a point of contact for questions about integration, among other things. This applies to people who receive benefits in accordance with the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act or live in shared accommodation.

Involuntarily homeless people living in accommodation are also looked after.

Within the #WOHiN working group, the department looks after homeless and other people who are conspicuous in public spaces.

The housing case management team works with clients to develop a tailored concept to help them out of homelessness or looks for alternative forms of housing if they are unable to live in their own home.
