They have been running the winery in Frauenstein, which they took over from their parents, for 25 years now. Through natural cultivation in the vineyard and careful ageing of the wines, they try to produce Riesling and Burgundy wines that are typical of the variety and vintage and are characterized by their distinctiveness. They pay particular attention to Pinot Noir, which finds the best climatic conditions in Frauenstein. Selective hand-picking, fermentation in mash tanks and malolactic fermentation produce velvety, full-bodied red wines and tangy Pinot Blancs. Of course, they also offer sparkling wine and their "Monte Secco".
