However, the organization of an election is only possible with a large number of volunteers - around 2,500 helpers are needed in Wiesbaden. Many people volunteer for this, some have even been involved for many years.
If you would also like to take a look "behind the scenes": How about working on an election committee? You can expect an interesting and responsible job for the common good. And remember: the work as an election assistant only takes up practically one day - unlike many other honorary positions.

Note
Once the Office for Elections has received your declaration of consent, you will first be entered on a preregistration list. All those to be appointed will receive a letter of appointment. This letter will also state the polling station where you should be present on election day.
