Do you want to inform the lower building supervisory authority of the progress of your building project?
The building owner must notify the local building authority of the completion of the structural work, the final completion, and, if applicable, the commencement of use prior to final completion.
The building authority must be notified at least one week in advance of the start of construction, and at least two weeks in advance of the completion of the structural work and the final completion/occupancy of the building.
For construction projects applied for via the Hessen Construction Portal on or after December 1, 2025, construction progress reports must be submitted digitally through the portal. For construction projects for which applications were submitted before December 1 via a hybrid method (Nextcloud + a paper copy) or in paper form, construction status reports may be submitted as PDF files via email or through Nextcloud.
