Building permit procedure
The full procedure is carried out for special buildings and at the request of the applicant. Here, the building inspectorate examines the application or building project in detail in accordance with building planning law and building regulations.
The full permitting process is designed to provide a comprehensive review under public law and is primarily reserved for special structures and their associated ancillary facilities.
In addition, applicants whose construction projects would normally be subject to an exemption from approval or a simplified building permit procedure, but who wish to ensure a comprehensive review, may choose this procedure. However, this also entails the correspondingly higher fees for the full procedure.
In contrast to the simplified planning permission procedure, a comprehensive building regulations inspection is carried out in addition to the building planning inspection.
