The Sports Department offers various recreational sports classes that can be taken without joining a club.

Gymnastics for Everyone

• Where?
  Robert Schumann School Gymnasium, Schumannstraße 18, 65193 Wiesbaden
• When?
  Mondays, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (except during school breaks or on holidays) 
• Instructor: Oyun Schmauß
• Course fee: €50 per half-year 
• Target audience: People aged 60 and older; in principle, anyone who enjoys gymnastics is welcome.
• Trial Class: A free trial class is available at any time.

Course content: An intensive warm-up is followed by easy-to-learn gymnastic exercises. Each week focuses on a different training theme—for example, exercises while standing, sitting, or lying down; training with a Theraband, 1-kg dumbbells, hoops, balls, or a stick.

Gymnastics for Women

• When?
  Thursdays, 6:15 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (except during school breaks or on holidays)
• Instructor: Oyun Schmauß 
• Course fee: €50 per half-year 
• Target group: Women who enjoy gymnastics exercises.
• Trial Class: A free trial class is available at any time.

Course content: Gymnastics performed while standing, sitting, or lying down—supplemented by the use of Therabands, dumbbells, hoops, balls, or a stick. The exercises are varied and suitable for different fitness levels.
